Agricultural space is created when people modify areas in order to use them for crops, livestock or forestry. Its composition is influenced by different factors:
- PHYSICAL FACTORS are:
+ Climate mainly for temperature and rainfall which determined crop growing.
+ Relief conditions the exposure to sun and wind, steepness to slopes and altitude.
+ Soil with nutrients
+ Vegatation providing humus to the soil.
- HUMAN FACTORS are:
+ Population growth.
+ Economic and technological conditions
+ Ownership of the land : owner cultivate their plots or somebody work for them.
- STRUCTURE OF THE AGRICULTURAL SPACE pays attetion to:
+ Plots can be classified into these categories:
a) According to their size can be: small, medium or large plots.
b) According to shape can be regular or geometric and irregular.
